Calculate how many calories you need.
To do this firstly we would need to get our height (in cm), weight (in kg) and our age. So now were ready to calculate our BMR (basal metabolic rate) which will help us plan our error-free diet and reach our goals. BMR is basically how many calories we use up when were resting and not doing anything, so once we start doing activities we can workout how many calories we should be taking in per day. When you find your BMR and daily calorie intake you can now start planning your diet and making it specific to your aims/goals. For instance, if your main objective this year is to lose weight than you can amend your diet to be around 400-600 calories below your original calorie intake result you got from the BMR calculations this would result in a weight loss of around 1lbs per week
